Job Details
My client is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join their office in Dallas. As a reputable legal industry leader, they offer a challenging, dynamic, and collaborative work environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of solely family law experience, and a desire to achieve their board certification.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various legal issues related to family law matters
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Attend depositions and mediations
- Manage a docket of approximately 30-50 cases
- Maintain accurate and detailed case files and records
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Licensed in Texas
- 3 - 8 years of family law experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
