Job Description:
A reputable law firm is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join its Nevada team. The firm specializes in family law and is known for providing a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and work-life balance. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility for remote and in-office work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and complex asset division.
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients, ensuring clear guidance through negotiations, settlements, and litigation.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law regulations and procedures.
- Attend and advocate at court hearings, mediations, and conferences.
- Maintain a billable requirement of 1,700 hours per year while managing a diverse caseload.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Nevada.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in family law, with a proven track record of handling cases from inception to resolution.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively, work independently, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary starting at $135,000, along with performance-based bonuses.
