Your day as a 2nd Shift Family Teacher
As a 2nd Shift Hourly Family Teacher at Mooseheart Child City & School, you will play a vital role in the Family Teacher Team dynamic, working collaboratively from 2 PM to 10 PM. Your primary responsibilities focus on ensuring the well-being of the youth in your care, which includes managing daily routines, overseeing paperwork, and maintaining an organized household. Your duties will encompass preparing nutritious snacks and meals, assisting children with homework, and providing transportation as needed. Additionally, you will administer medication as needed and help youth prepare for extracurricular activities, ensuring their schedules are balanced and enriching.
