Our market-leading approach combines extensive local compliance and accounting experience ' in over 120 countries ' with standard global compliance and tax accounting processes and web-based tools.Your key responsibilitiesYou'll spend your time supporting client engagements by coordinating day-to-day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines, developing internal team members, and managing engagement economics
You'll continuously build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations
Identifying and resolving tax technical issues and sharing insights to improve our efficiency will be a key component.  In addition, you'll partner with other team members to help identify new opportunities to leverage to your clients across multiple service lines.Skills and attributes for successProviding our clients with domestic federal tax advice and guidance tailored to their unique needsKeeping up to date with ongoing trends and changes to legislation that will affect planning activitiesSupervising high-performing teams and sharing your experience and knowledge of leading-practicesDeveloping the technical and soft skills of younger colleagues, and participating in the performance management processBuilding relationships at all levels both internally and externally, promoting a culture of collaborationPreparing practical recommendations to some of our clients' most complex tax issuesTo qualify for the role you must haveA Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and approximately five years of related work experienceCPA certification or licensed attorney statusA background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxationExperience managing budgets and projectsKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining toolsThe ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects, and the confidence to engage and integrate directly into our clients' teamsWillingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environmentIdeally, you'll also haveA proven record in a professional services environmentExperience in coaching and mentoring junior colleaguesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailThe ability to adapt your work style to work with both internal and client team membersWhat we look forWe're interested in people who are ready to become a part of a highly engaged, diverse, and dynamic team to help us continue to make a real difference to our clients

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,600 to $188,000
The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $123,100 to $213,700
Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year
