About the Job
A Talascend client is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a direct hire role based in Salem, OH
Extensive travel may be required from home base.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance for clients
- Install new equipment and assist with technical set up needs
- Diagnose technical issues and resolve problems on site
- Communicate with clients about work updates, addressing any concerns
- Submit work order documentation and service reports
Skills Required:
- Associate's degree in electronics, engineering or relevant field or 2+ years experience
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs correctly and perform physical work safely
- Effective communication and client service skills
- Proficiency with technical documentation and record keeping
