As a Field Service Representative, you’ll collect technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures to address potential support issueswhile managing field office resources and maintaining company presence.
What you’ll do:
- Preparing for field service trip, booking flights and hotels
- Gathering / ordering parts as required for job and shipping to job site
- Shipping tools to job site
- Fly and/or drive to necessary areas to perform field work
- Travel to remote/dangerous countries may be required
- Travel abroad to provide support to global customers Provides technical support and maintenance to customers in the field by dismantling, cleaning, repairing, inspection, assembly and/or testing customer engines or accessories
- Performs schedules maintenance as part of preventative maintenance program
- Performs visual and dimensional inspection of parts determining serviceability for continued service; identifies unserviceable parts that are not reparable and initiates parts requisitions
- Assures that all services rendered are in compliance with customer, regulatory and company requirements
- Maintains detailed documentations and appropriate paperwork following completion of a serviceable job
- Maintains written reports on all pertinent incidents, accidents, problems and complaints
- Acts as a liaison with production, engineering, sales and customers in resolving customer problems and complaints
- Assesses supplied information and troubleshoots to determine most effective action required
What skills you will use:
- 5 years of experience as a field service representative or similar role
- Experience with managing and preserving technical equipment
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have an Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P)
- Ability to meet US Persons requirements per ITAR.
