Our company is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Permanent Field Service Technician to join our vibrant engineering team. This individual will play a pivotal role in the maintenance, installation, and integration of analyzers, with a focus on hydrocarbon and continuous gas analyzers. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in heat tracing, PLC integrations, continuous emission monitoring, and preventative maintenance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the petrochemical, pipelines, refineries, and oil & gas sectors. The position also involves commissioning startups, which requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Field Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Installation, calibration, and maintenance of various types of analyzers, particularly hydrocarbon and continuous gas analyzers.
2. Ensuring the proper functioning of heat tracing systems and executing PLC integrations.
3. Performing preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
4. Monitoring emissions continuously and taking necessary actions to maintain them within the set guidelines.
5. Providing technical support during the commissioning startup phase of various projects.
6. Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
7. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
8. Travelling to different project sites as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Field Service Technician position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
2. Extensive experience with analyzers, heat tracing, PLC integrations, and preventative maintenance.
3. Proven experience in the petrochemical, pipelines, refineries, and oil & gas sectors.
4. Strong knowledge of continuous emission monitoring systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
9. Relevant certifications or qualifications would be a significant advantage.
