About the Job
Akkodis is seeking a Field Service Technician for a Contract job with a client in California CA. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with strong mechanical aptitude and technical expertise in troubleshooting hardware, particularly HP PC products.
Rate Range: $25/hour to $29/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Field Service Technician job responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues on-site for HP PC Products, including laptops, desktops, and workstations.
Provide exceptional customer service while managing critical service events and resolving technical issues.
Collaborate with escalation teams to implement technical action plans for resolving PC/printer issues.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold HP’s contractual commitments through timely service delivery.
Desired Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years of technical/mechanical hardware repair experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in troubleshooting hardware issues.
Onsite customer-facing experience with a focus on delivering excellent service.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
