We are seeking a part-time Consulting Field Technician to join our dynamic team in the agriculture industry! This unique role combines the essential elements of agriculture with the technical aspects of finance and accounting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, gaining invaluable experience in a thriving and innovative industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Field Technician, you will:
1. Provide technical support to our clients in the agriculture industry, ensuring all their accounting and finance needs are met. This includes the implementation of accounting systems, financial planning, and budgeting.
2. Use your knowledge of crop tagging and pollination to assist clients in making informed financial decisions. This includes analyzing financial data in relation to crop yields and advising on potential investments in agricultural technology.
3. Conduct on-site visits to farms and agricultural businesses, providing hands-on technical support and training to clients. This includes demonstrating the use of accounting software and systems, and troubleshooting any issues.
4. Work closely with our team of accountants and financial advisors to develop customized financial strategies for our clients. This includes contributing to team meetings and brainstorming sessions, and sharing your insights and expertise in agriculture.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in agriculture, accounting, and finance, ensuring our clients receive the most accurate and current advice.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the part-time Consulting Field Technician role will have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in crop tagging, pollination, and agriculture.
2. A degree in Agriculture, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3. Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on support to clients.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable way.
5. A keen interest in both agriculture and finance, and a desire to continually learn and develop in these areas.
6. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to manage your time effectively.
7. A valid driver's license, as this role involves travel to client sites.
