Description:
The Technician will support remediation work that will include constructions tasks such as clearing and grubbing, installation of erosion control materials, soil excavation, grading, dewatering, backfilling, truck scaling, equipment decontamination, and restoration efforts. The technician will be supporting work in spotting equipment operators, doing torch cutting on steel and any other general labor task on the work site, Such as; Carrying materials, dirt work, and shoveling material.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Must have previous construction/civil experience working outside moving dirt
-Must be able to lift 75 lbs. independently.
-Must be able to Travel 75%. Home on weekends.
+Operating Experience after they go on full time.
+40 Hour Hazwoper, but not required for this project.
+Environmental Experience
DISQUAL: An individual that only wants to operate machines and is not willing to help out when machines are not needed will not work out. They will be operating equipment about 75% of the time, with the remaining 25% helping as a general labor. This is non-negotiable. True Environmental Operators will understand this.
Experience Level:
Entry Level Description:
Individuals will be the hands on labor for collecting Non-Hazardous material(Oil, Paint) in the field. This will be a labor intensive job consisting of cleaning out tanks, pressure washing(less than 2500psi), preparing waste for proper disposal and responding to emergency spills. He/she will also be responsible for loading and unloading heavy storage drums. All this will include getting material/tools ready every morning for the work they will be performed for the day. At the end of the day there may be some cleaning of company equipment/tools.
+ Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
+ Prepares necessary supplies, tools and other equipment for transport to worksite.
+ Cleans and scrapes the inside of and assists with removal of underground chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for proper disposal.
+ Provides labor for demolition of contaminated buildings and land sites; operates excavation and filter press operation equipment.
+ Operates small hand tools and provides other construction type labor in projects.
+ Decontaminates company equipment and tools.
+ May load, unload and sample drums; Respond to emergency spills.
