Job Title: Hardware Installation Technician

Location: China Grove, NC

Job Type: Contract - 2 Weeks 80 Hours

Shift Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Monday to Friday (40 Hours/Week)

Hourly Rate: $20 - $24.10 per hour

Job Description:

1-2 Years of experience as a Technician Required

We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician with hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of hardware devices including printers, scanners, and cable systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure seamless installation and configuration of hardware systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware such as printers, scanners, and related peripheral devices.
• Perform cabling tasks including running, testing, and terminating Ethernet and other cables as required.
• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure proper installation according to client specifications.
• Test all installed hardware to ensure proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
• Provide post-installation support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Document installation processes and provide status updates to supervisors or clients.
• Follow safety standards and protocols during hardware installation.
• Assist with equipment relocation or upgrades as required by the client.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in hardware installation (specifically printers, scanners, and cables).
• Experience working with Hardware installation, Cable Tech highly desired and familiarity with basic tools is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of network cabling and wiring standards.
• Familiarity with the installation and setup of POS systems (a plus).
• Basic understanding of networking and device configuration.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy hardware devices as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in hardware installation or a related technical field

· Diagonal cutters for cutting cables and/or plastic wire ties

· Metal coat hanger to route cables
