POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Technician performs a variety of skilled tasks across several trades including plumbing, electrical, wall repair, painting, grounds maintenance, and repairing facilities. Work may include assisting with the inspection, testing, adjustment, and repair and cleaning of minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, the Facilities Technician assists and works with Maintenance Mechanics and other Facilities and Maintenance staff as needed or assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of HVAC installation and trouble-shooting.
- Basic knowledge of methods used in various trades such as electrical, plumbing, painting, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to properly and effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form, and understand written and verbal instructions in English.
- Basic knowledge of computer use for recording data and sending and receiving email.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to construction and HVAC trades.
- Ability to interact well with clients.
- Ability to work efficiently on your own.
- A team player.
- Must be able to work weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: $15.00 to $40.00 /hour
