About the Job
Position Mission: The purpose of this job is to administer and facilitate training programs, resources and field training activity, including critical field operations support and special assignments. This position serves as a liaison between the training department and the field, as well as Delight Center personnel.
Responsibilities Include:
- In conjunction with operations, ensure the teams are working on their bench plan for, Shift Leads, AGMs and RGMs. Shepherd the process to ensure training plans are in place and the operations teams are developing and promoting team members properly.
- Successfully influence operations leaders about the importance of, 1) identifying highly promotable team members and 2) taking those high-potential employees through the proper training processes.
- In partnership with Operations, ensure Learning Zone training is being properly completed by team members. Ensure the integrity of the process (e.g., RGM's should not complete Team Member Learning Zones).
- Partner with Operations on all new product rollouts and additional restaurant level training rollouts in each of his or her assigned markets.
- Conduct one Full CORE audit in his or her assigned market per quarter. Coach operations on the areas of opportunity-report coaching recaps to Training Leader, Core Coach and Ops Leader.
- Own the Training Store Manager (MTM) process
- Assist operations with the identification of MTMs
- Certify MTMs
- Support MTM managers to coach the to the highest standards of training excellence, exhibit leadership courage when MIT's are not successful and partner with HR, Operations Leaders and Training Leadership to either reset training timeline or align on training cessation.
- Shepherd and coach all MIT and Above Restaurant Leaders (ARL) in training, through his or her training time to increase the MIT's engagement level and reduce turnover risk.
- Must be a certified SME on all operational standards, processes and systems
- Partner with Operations on the ARN annual certifications for RGMs and ARLs; report on certification compliance and work towards 100% compliance at all times.
- Coordinate and conduct manager Rally's in his or her assigned markets. The goal is once per quarter or more.
- Understands and can coach all of the elements of the RGM Success Binder and the Operations Excellence Program.
- Assist ARL's and RGM's with training New Restaurant Opening (NRO) team members and managers. Shepherd the NRO managers and team members post go-live (for up to six months), to ensure the NRO gets to a Green scorecard within 6 months of opening.
- Conduct training classes on operational (e.g., ICOS, Core, etc.) and HR (e.g., Respectful Work place, Using Talent Reef, etc.) as needed.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Three years or more experience in the restaurant industry
- Two years or more of training experience
- Proven ability for high detail orientation with strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong Verbal and written English Skills, Spanish-speaking a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Experience managing complex event logistics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, unpredictable and ambiguous environment
- Works well under pressure and tight timelines
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Expert in Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Travel:
Travel potentially up to 75%; 25% out of his or her home market
Pay Rate: $65,000-$70,000
