Finance Administrator
PIRTEK in Elk Grove Village is seeking to hire a Finance Administrator. The Finance Administrator is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the finance department. They will primarily provide Accounts Payable functions for the company as well as assisting with A/R functions. The Finance Administrator reports to the Finance Manager.
Typical schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

This position's pay range is $22 - $24(depending on experience).
Core Responsibilities:.
- Pays invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing
disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment - Maintains accounts payable ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents
and related information - Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing
stop payments and adjustments. - Communicates with vendors to resolve any issues related to payments or
invoices. - Manages the accounts payable email inbox and respond to inquiries
promptly and professionally. - Monitors accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of
outstanding invoices. - Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
- Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Maintains a good working relationship with customers/vendors as well as co-workers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High degree of accuracy
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in mathematics
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to accounts
payable is a strong plus. - High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of accounting and/or finance experience
- 1 year of previous experience in a customer-facing role
PREFERRED
- GAAP Accounting Experience
