Responsibilities of the Finance Grants Manager:
- Creation of grant budgets aligned with the organizational budget
- Execution, preparation and maintenance of grant proposal financial documents
- Serve as a liaison between departments including finance, development and program partners
- Monitor grant spending and progress to ensure an organized and systemic approach for grant tracking (from a financial perspective) across the organization including uniform reporting and fund tracking
- Manage accounting function related to grants management, ensuring GAAP compliance for all grants
- Maintaining the monthly net assets schedule, and annual review of 990 Schedule B
Experience Preferred for the Finance Grants Manager:
- 5+ years of Accounting experience in a non-profit setting
- experience working with ERP systems (MIP is a plus)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Strong Excel skills
