A Westside CPG company is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is an individual contributor role at this time and reports to the VP. The Finance Manager will be responsible for forecasting, sales finance and investments, and trade promotion and deductions. What do you need for this Finance Manager role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
- 5+ years of finance experience
- Must have industry experience
- Advanced Excel
- Oversee all financial operations related to sales and trade finance.
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage trade finance activities, including letters of credit, guarantees, trade loans, and other trade finance instruments.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to secure trade finance facilities and negotiate favorable terms.
- Monitor and manage trade finance transactions to minimize risks and optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement pricing strategies, discount policies, and sales incentives.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to provide financial insights and support sales decision-making.
- Develop financial models to assess the impact of sales initiatives and campaigns on the company's profitability.
- Support the sales team in contract negotiations, ensuring favorable financial terms and risk mitigation.
- Identify and assess financial risks related to sales and trade finance activities.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to proactively address potential risks.
