Description: Our client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant. This is a permanent, direct hire position in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain standard costs for products.
- Analyze cost variances by comparing actual costs to standard costs.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor project budgets and analyze deviations
- Collaborate for cost projections with overall financial goals.
- Generate financial reports, including variance analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Provide insights to management regarding cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience
- Expect a fast-paced working environment and collaboration across departments.
- Proficient in Excel, SAP, Hyperion preferred
