The Financial Analyst will be responsible for information which is necessary for understanding period results, profitability trends, budget variances, and pricing issues by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Independently develop financial / statistical data to facilitate rapid analysis, decision support and problem resolution
- Develop financial Reports and Bridge schedules to effectively communicate financial results for the Commercial Hard Surface business.
- Become a valued resource for internal customers by facilitating business changes based on profitability, retail channel trends, pricing issues, and other analyses.
- Drive the annual product line and departmental budgets, forecasts, and plan analysis.
- Continuous development and improvement in providing customers with appropriate financial data that contributes to the accomplishment of company objectives.
- Drives the period end closing process
- Analyze Mannington Commercial cost/profit relationship at product, customer and channel levels.
- Analyze and submit for approval Promotional-pricing requests for all national (US and Canada), regional or distributor specific sales.
- Responsible for all pricing data required for Distributor bulletins.
- Manage implementation of pricing activities within Mannington Commercial and our distributor network. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance and two to three years’ progressive financial experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Ability to translate financial data into usable business information for non-financial customers
