The proposed position will take responsibility to assist CE(VD,DA)’s monthly forecasting & closing process as well as financial reporting directly to CFO and controllers. Supporting alongside of CE controller, this roll will assist the forecasting, ad hoc accounting, and various financial duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct 3-month business forecasts, including comprehensive forecasts on overhead expenses as well as of business environmental changes to provide better financial visibility to management.
• Prepare and perform month-end closing from a managerial standpoint, using SAP Controlling (CO) module while closely monitoring expenses/cost allocation of various profit segments/cost centers.
• By reviewing monthly/quarterly/yearly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports consolidating financial results, conduct profit analysis vs target, previous forecast and prior year in order to track cost fluctuations.
• Investigate irregular financial trends by linking financial information with business results, previous variance analyses, in-depth raw data examination, and close communication with related business teams/divisions.
• During monthly forecast process, reviewing and analyzing the data inputted by Sales/Marketing teams (price change, quantity change, SD/marketing spend) to understand the impact to business for communication with CFO/controller and HQ GBM counterparts
Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field from a four-year college or university.
• Have 2~3 years related accounting experience with previous financial experience preferred.
• Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with Excel spreadsheet preparation skills.
• Have accounting experience utilizing SAP Software (Desirable).
The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Job Responsibilities:
? Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
? Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
? Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks.
Skills:

? Basic ability to work independently and manage one?s time.
? Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
? Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
? Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
? Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
Education/Experience:
? Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
? 2-4 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
