Medical Revenue Cycle Controller (North Side of Chicago)
Our client, a busy and fast-growing Non-for-Profit FQHC Primary Care & Behavioral Health Organization located on the North Side of Chicago, has an immediate staffing need for a direct-hire, full-time, experienced Medical Revenue Cycle/Finance Management Professional to manage the medical finances of a busy FQHC Primary Care & Behavioral Health Organization.

Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the FQHC
- Revenue Cycle Management: Work closely with the finance team to optimize billing and collections processes. Monitor cash flow, review financial statements, and prepare reports to track revenue generation and ensure timely reimbursement for services rendered.
- Grant Management: Ensure compliance w/grant requirements and prepare necessary reports for grantors.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Provide guidance & support to dept. heads throughout the budgeting and process and monitor budget performance against actual results.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders to support decision making and accountability
- Supervision & Leadership: As our organization grows, you will supervise accounting staff responsible AP, AR, and payroll. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the finance team.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of recent healthcare, primary care, or behavioral health finance, accounting, or revenue cycle management experience is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience, CPA is Preferred.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks and QuickBooks is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare finance, preferably within an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong background in Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement, grant management, and financial reporting for non-profits.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of management and staff.
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, & ability to manage multiple deadlines.
