Job Title: FP&A Analyst
Duration: 10/07/2024 - 01/10/2025
Location: Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week, subject to increase/change) -Culver City, CA 90232

• Fast-paced department, workers may need to work on presentations/slides. 
• Communication is key for this role, excel heavy, and Studio experience is preferred but not a must.
• This role may have OT every once in a while

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Day-to-day support of the FP&A team with consolidation, analysis of the financial budgets and quarterly forecasts, and financial modeling
• Consolidate and analyze monthly financial operating results and variances to forecast
• Consolidate forecast submissions from global FP&A teams and review variance commentaries
• Discern performance drivers in a complex industry using data and commercial insight from regional finance and sales planning teams
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly forecast presentations and ad hoc analyses
• Aid in the development of global reporting, including dashboards to provide value-add insights
• Collaborate with global FP&A, IT, and Commercial teams to optimize processes
• Ensure the FP&A system is accurately updated. Maintain data versioning and develop new reports as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, preferably Business, Finance, or Economics
• 5+ year of experience in a highly analytical environment, preferably in FP&A/Strategic Finance

SKILLS:

• Proficient with Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides; Tableau knowledge is a plus
• Experience working with Planning tools (Hyperion Planning, PBCS, or Essbase)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong people skills, including the ability to work in a cross functional environment and communicate with various levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analyses into decisions and actions
• Excellent time management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with high standards and attention to detail, along with an excellent work ethic
• Independent worker and able to manage multiple deliverables while being a team player
• Continually searches for opportunities to improve internal processes
• Proactive, self-starter and independent thinker, with strong ability to collaborate across teams
