Financial Reporting Analyst (2 positions)
Location: Boston (Hybrid: Remote 2 days/week)
Compensation: $37-$42 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Perm (potential)
Position Overview:
The Financial Reporting Analyst will support senior management in the Office of Budget Planning and Institutional Research, assisting with budgetary and financial matters
Responsibilities include reconciling budget data, developing financial models, and producing reports from various systems
Analysts will also take part in budgeting processes, forecasting, and providing critical analysis to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile position budget data and review funding worklist items.
Produce financial and budgeting reports across multiple systems.
Monitor and maintain the budget forecasting tools.
Analyze operating performance, identifying areas for efficiency and savings.
Collaborate with university leadership to address short- and long-term funding issues.
Lead analysis projects and supervise other analysts as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or management.
4-8 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Leadership experience and ability to work with senior management.
