Overview of the Financial Reporting Manager role:

• Preparation and submission of SEC filings (Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Form 8-K,etc.), earnings releases, and internal reporting packages
• Technical accounting research (U.S. GAAP and SEC Regulations) and preparation of technical memorandums
• Review contracts to determine proper accounting treatment
• Identify and implement necessary updates in financial reporting practices to adapt to evolving business operations and updates in technology
• Collaborate with Investor Relations answering questions/providing information
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley is maintained for responsible areas
• Preparation of retirement plan financial statements, FERC filings, and filings with governmental agencies
• External audit coordination and maintaining consistent, effective communication with the external audit team

Preferred Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting - CPA
• Managerial experience required.
• 8+ years of total experience in accounting with an emphasis on SEC reporting.
• 4+ years of experience in public accounting preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and SEC
• Deep understanding of ASC 932 and ASC 842.
• Ability to perform technical accounting research and documentation.
