What does a successful Senior Go Software Developer: Release and Delivery do at Fiserv?
You will play a vital role to manage the release processes and ensure the successful delivery of our financial technology products.
What you will do:
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and Operations, to plan and coordinate release schedules
+ Manage the end-to-end release process from development, testing, deployment, to post-release monitoring
+ Automate and streamline release processes to improve efficiency and minimize risks
+ Develop and maintain release documentation: release notes, deployment guides, and troubleshooting guides
+ Monitor release metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
+ Work closely with development teams to understand and resolve any release-related issues or challenges
What you will need to have:
+ 6-10 years of experience in release management and delivery software engineering within the fintech industry
+ 6-10 years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
+ 3 years of experience with cloud platforms: AWS or Azure
+ 3 years of experience with Golang software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies
+ 3 years of experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools : Jenkins, GitLab CI
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
