About the Job
Responsibilities
Research, visit, and send quotations out to prospects for new business opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
Meet with new and existing clients to determine their needs.
Review deficiencies and send quotations to address them.
Identify customer needs through site surveys and effectively communicate TFP's capabilities
Qualifications
Experience in the fire protection industry.
Must have common working knowledge of fire and life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to: fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, fire extinguishers, and kitchen suppression systems.
Experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the fire protection industry.
Knowledge of common office and sales software.
Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results.
Ability to create and deliver presentations.
Fast learner and quick thinker.
Passionate about sales.
Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment.
Service Trade and Building Reports experience preferred
Inspections sales reps will earn 10% commission on all new inspections sold AT OR ABOVE 35% profit margin. The commission will be paid off of the first year's term. We are also offering a bonus incentive. If the salesman signs $250,000 in new contracts for a fiscal year, the salesman will earn an additional $10,000. This will be paid within 30 days after the goal is hit. New sales commissions will be paid within 30 days of the closed quarter. *If a new inspection is sold, paid out to the salesmen, and then canceled before we perform the inspection, the amount of the commission on the lost sale will be deducted from the next commission payout.
