Fleet Safety & Compliance Supervisor - Julius Silvert

Role Overview:

The Fleet Safety & Compliance Supervisor will focus on ensuring that all fleet operations align with safety standards and compliance regulations. This role includes driver safety training, audits, and reporting, working closely with the transportation team to promote a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular audits on fleet and driver compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and internal policies.

• Driver Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training sessions for drivers, focusing on safe driving practices, equipment handling, and regulatory requirements.

• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations for any incidents or accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed safety and compliance records, reporting to management on safety metrics and improvement areas.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a safety and compliance role within transportation or logistics.

• Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT regulations, and safety best practices.

• Strong communication skills for effective training and incident response.

• Familiarity with eLog systems and compliance tracking software.
