Job Description:
Seeking experienced paramedic for flight EMS service in rural Alaska.
Air ambulance serves 15 bush communities in western Alaska within 20 to 45 minutes from Nome in fixed wing transport. Includes transport to Anchorage for higher level of care as needed.
Job requirements include village transportation via small ATV, snow machine, and other off road vehicles possibly in extreme weather conditions. Travel in small aircraft either fixed wing and possibly rotor.
Must have experience in emergency airway management and trauma care.
COVID and Flu vaccine required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS required.

Additional Information And Terms:
ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID VACCINATIONS PLUS BOOSTER. FLU VACCINES ARE ALSO REQUIRED AND EXEMPTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Proof of vaccination must include the vaccine type, lot number, expiration date, date and site administered . The full name of the employee must also be visible in the submitted record. If the vaccines were administered when the employee was a child and is applying with different name, (married, etc.) then this must be indicated in the documentation. As an alternative titers from a diagnostic lab indicating appropriate level of immunity can be submitted. Titers cannot be more than 10 years old.
