Food and Beverage Manager

Kahill's Chophouse located in South Sioux City, NE., is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager. The right candidate will help maintain an efficient, profitable, and professional work environment in all areas of the food and beverage operation.

Responsibilities: 

• Follow directions from Kahill's General Manager
• Perform upscale dining room management
• Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals by holding the team accountable to service standards
• Supports and communicates business initiatives
• Work closely with the Culinary Team to ensure proper execution for events and daily dining
• Executes primary relationships with business clients, staff members, and partners
• Work with Sales and Events Team to ensure client satisfaction at all events
• Ensure the team collectively stays relevant with industry trends and advancements
• Ensure menu/beverage/facility knowledge of staff
• Ensure proper training on quality and service standards and have the tools & equipment to effectively carry out their job functions. 
• Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
• Interviews, hires, trains, and develops team members
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and ongoing development for every member of your team to ultimately ensure an exceptional guest experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and in a management position
• Has strong attention to detail
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Hotel and hospitality experience is preferred but not required
• Able to communicate effectively with the management team, guests, and team members
• English reading, writing, math, and computer skills required
• Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend, and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout the shift
• Must be able to work extended shifts if necessary
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
• Must pass a background check
