About the Job
Job Description: Position Overview:
Serves school students, hospital patients, or other patrons of dining area, and performs a variety of duties on the tray line. Prepares and delivers food trays. Reads production orders on color-coded menu cards on trays to determine appropriate items to place on tray. o Cleaning: Washing, sanitizing, and stacking dishes, utensils, and cookware
o Organizing: Keeping the dish area and kitchen clean and organized
o Loading and unloading: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading the dishwasher
o Sanitizing: Following food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination
o Maintaining: Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the dish machine
o Trash: Emptying trash containers regularly and removing full trash cans
o Floors: Keeping floors clean and dry throughout the shift
o Customer service: Assisting in the dining area to clean spills and broken dishes
o Other duties: performing additional cleaning duties as requested
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
1-3 years of food service experience.
