General Job Statement
The Food Shelf Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and management of NorthPoint's Food Programs, including a Food Shelf that serves approximately 2,500 families per month. This position will promote and ensure staff are utilizing the whole-person integrated care model to address food security needs in North Minneapolis. In the pursuit of health equity, this position will promote healthy lifestyle choices, improve health disparities, ensure food and other basic needs are met for individuals and families, and reduce barriers to services and programs. This position will provide communication, support, and recommendations to the Director to implement, improve, and evaluate food program operations to ensure compliance with all program requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business Administration, Public Health or a related field and three (3) years of related experience or Associates Degree in Human Services, Business Administration, Public Health or a related field with four (4) years related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of program management experience with demonstrated skill in leadership, planning and outcome reporting, required.
- Proven track record of designing and executing successful program design, implementation and meeting outcome metrics.
- Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, relationship building and communication skills working within a multi-cultural environment and with multiple stakeholder group.
- Ability to form and maintain internal and external partnerships and networks that support the mission, vision, values and goals of the organization.
- Knowledge of current social determinants of health and disparities, including health disparities and historical trauma and the impact to communities of color.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet and Outlook, and client tracking database.
- Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and ability to meet NorthPoint's driving standards.
- Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours.
