POSITION PURPOSE:
D&H United/Cochise is looking for a Construction Foreman Installer, they will have full accountability for effective and efficient completion of construction efforts for D&H customers. He/She is responsible for overseeing and performing basic construction duties while simultaneously providing outstanding customer service. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Serves as the construction subject matter expert (SME) for construction projects
2. Operates as a mentor and primary resource for construction technicians and corresponding subcontractors
3. Oversees the construction operations across several sites at any given time, evaluating areas of improvement to drive out deficiencies
4. Delegates construction tasks to construction teams and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects
5. Tracks equipment and material usage, reporting overall cost related to projected budgets
6. Completes construction tasks such as pouring concrete, pipe fitting, framing, mixing, and finishing
7. Installs and repairs petroleum equipment including USTs, ASTs, gas pumps, fuel monitoring systems, submersible pumps, and product piping
8. Utilizes and maintains various hand tools and at times heavy construction equipment such as power vibrators and compactors to complete daily project tasks
9. Completes differing construction projects as assigned, including but not limited to concrete removal and replacement, manhole and spill containment replacements, aligning for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, and rebar replacements.
10. Operates a company vehicle safely and cleanly, adhering to all state and federal driving laws and regulations
11. Confers with construction managers to clarify issues, identify underlying concerns, and complete projects as assigned
12. Collaborates with other D&H departments to provide exceptional customer service
13. Ensures compliance with company policies, industry standards, and contractual agreements
14. Complies with all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the D&H employee and safety handbooks
15. Performs all other duties as assigned.
minimum qualifications
1. Must have 5 to 7 years of construction experience
2. Willing to become a Licensed Installer (preferred)
3. Must have experience managing a crew

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
· High School diploma or equivalent needed
· Bilingual in Spanish required
· 5-7 or more years supervisory experience in a construction setting
· American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Frequent use of hands
· Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds frequently, 75-100 pounds occasionally
· May work in extreme types of weather and high traffic areas
