Barton Staffing is now hiring for a Forklift Operator opening available in Romeoville, IL.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Resume and interview required.
Lots of overtime in this role, the company always has work to put you on the clock.

1st Shift hours: 6AM-4 PM Monday-Friday
Rotating weekend schedule, when scheduled it will be either Saturday or Sunday - 12 hour shift. 6am-6pm
$19.25 Per hour
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safe, careful handling of product, and completing tasks and SOPs.
- General housekeeping and stow maintenance in your works as required – example – Clean as you go.
- Continuous focus on fostering a safe work environment by practicing safe work procedures and following all safety rules
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by site management.

What You Will Need
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous machine operator experiences preferred but not required.
- Disciplined, dependable and resourceful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong detail orientation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to engage repetitive pushing, pulling, bending, squatting and lifting. · Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. · Able to operate forklifts.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
