JOB TITLE: Forklift/Skidsteer Technician
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment such as material handlers, skid steers, forklifts, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of diesel and gas engine machines.
- Diagnose and repair heavy machinery (forklifts, skid steers, etc.)
- Repair, replace, recondition, disassemble, weld, and examine parts and engines.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
- Conduct diagnostic testing and examine the findings of the tests.
- Test driving vehicles to evaluate their performance.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on forklifts and skid steers.
- Keep and maintain detailed records of all vehicle’s services.
- Maintain and keep a clean workspace.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
- Comply with all company safety measures and government regulations.
- Communicate with a professional attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years mechanic experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Commercial Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
- Squat and kneel.
- Bend and twist as appropriate.
- Sit/Stand for long periods at a time.
