Framing Foreman at Denyon Homes

We’re looking for a Framing Foreman who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors to success and get the job done right. You’ll help our construction company plan and manage all new construction and remodeling projects for homeowners. $25+ hourly

• Adapt to the needs of the team and assist the project manager with other tasks when needed
• Supervise all construction workers and subcontractors, inspect their work, and provide direction when needed to ensure the job is high-quality
• Document the construction process in the daily logbook to update the project manager and homeowners on the progress
• Incorporate client feedback during the building process and help the construction crew and subcontractors execute change orders
• Prevent injuries and slowdowns by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and quickly report issues to the project manager if they do arise

• Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills
• Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
• Has basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• At least one year of previous experience as a general contractor required, preferably 3 or more years
• You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
• Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
• At least 3 years of previous experience in construction
