Seeking an Experienced Medical Front Desk Lead to lead and support front desk operations at Rush Pediatrics Aurora, Rush Pediatrics Aurora Ridge, and Rush Pediatrics & Family Medicine Oswego.
Position Summary: Responsible for front office duties including greeting, registering and discharging all patients; answering incoming phone calls, responding to general patient requests, and scheduling patient appointments. Lead will also be responsible for front desk oversight including supervising day-to-day activities of front office staff at three locations.
Lead Duties and Responsibilities
+ Assists with staff schedules and daily staff assignments
+ Serves as team leader to monitor daily front-office workflow, serves as back-up to manager as needed
+ Supply management and procurement
+ Conducting daily, monthly, annual reports as directed by Practice Manager
Position Requirements :
+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
+ Minimum of two years previous medical practice and/or billing experience.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office is highly desired. EPIC is highly desired.
+ Pleasant, effective verbal and written communication skills essential.
+ Strong customer service
+ Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented
+ Flexible; able to adapt to change, able to move between offices
+ Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus
