Front Desk Receptionist - Chatham Emergency Services

About the Job
Chatham Emergency Services (CES) is currently seeking a qualified front desk receptionist for the office location. The candidate must have the ability to deal with a busy work environment. We are looking for an candidate who will provide great support for the staff within our headquarters location.
DUTIES
- The candidate must be able to work Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. (overtime may be required for special projects)
- Proficient in data entry including Microsoft Products
- The ability to sit for extended periods of times
- Filing & Coordinating Meetings
- Assist with New Hire Orientation, Interviews, Hiring Process
- The ability to multi-task with little supervision
- The ability to work with the both internal staff as well as customers within the community
- Answer emails & phone calls
- Open, sorts & distributes mail
- Prepare UPS, FED EX & U.S. Postal Mailings
- Maintaining Electronic Filing System (Including Scanning)
- Support Human Resources Staff
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must possess the following skills:
- Experience with multi phone lines
- Ability to use sound judgment in dispatching personnel and equipment.
- The ability to think clearly and act calmly in stressful emergency situations.
- Has great customer service skills internally and externally
- The ability to multitasks between projects
- Type at least 25-30 WPM
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Maintain a Positive Attitude
- The ability to utilize basic office equipment (fax machine, telephone, scanners, computers)
- Ability to pass drug screen, background check and pre-employment physical
