About the Job
We are seeking a welcoming and organized Front Desk Receptionist to manage the first point of contact for our company. This role is essential in providing a positive first impression to visitors and clients while efficiently handling administrative support tasks. In the role of Front Desk Receptionist, you will welcome all visitors in a friendly professional manner. You will also perform other administrative duties.
Job Type: Part Time; Monday to Friday. 8am-1pm or 9am-2pm.
Job Location: Temple Terrace 33637
Pay Range: $16-$17/hour.
Duties and responsibilities
- Welcome and sign-in visitors as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Maintains security officer sign-in logs and schedule.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Send mail/packages at the request of managers.
- Maintain conference room calendar updated for main office.
- Keep inventory of office supplies and informs Office Administrator of needs regarding office, break room, bathroom supplies.
- Send inventory needs to Office Administrator.
- Maintain conference rooms and break room tidy and organized.
- Timely escalate concerns to Office Administrator or Chief Administrative Officer.
- Other duties as assigned by Chief Administrative Officer.
Essential Functions
- Ability to be at the front desk during business hours to welcome visitors.
- Ability to use computer and phone systems.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to use computer systems such as Word, Excel.
- Ability to multitask in mid to fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly demeanor and excellent phone etiquette
- Great organization and attention to detail skills
- Proficient using MS products such as Word, Excel, Outlook
- Some experience in administrative positions.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Working conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
