Front End Loader Operator - Wood Resources, LLC

Wood Resources is a provider of marine towing, ship mooring, dredging, as well as  construction and landscaping materials.

Position Summary:

Equipment operators are responsible for the safe operation of front-end loaders. Must be able to work in Algiers, Harahan, Waggaman, Donaldsonville, and Hahnville.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use front end loader to load materials
• Complete daily equipment inspections
• Communicate with customers and employees
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations while performing duties

 Job Requirements:

• Adhere to company attendance policy
• Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Must have reliable transportation to designated Wood Resources locations
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• 1-3 years of experience

 Physical Requirements:

• Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of sitting (8+ hours)
• Moderate -High noise levels
