Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front of House Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Front of House Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the overall dining experience for our guests. You will supervise the front-of-house staff, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles
- Proficient in using various point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement front-of-house operational policies and procedures
- Train, supervise, and coach front-of-house staff on service standards and customer interactions
- Ensure that all customer inquiries and complaints are handled promptly and to the customer's satisfaction
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of service and timely delivery of meals
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service areas
- Oversee the reservation system and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory and place orders for restaurant supplies and equipment
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of front-of-house staff and provide feedback for improvement
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new staff members
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices to enhance the overall dining experience
