Experienced Pharmacy Technicians - Full-Time

About the Job:
- We are a 24/7 operation offering full-time 1st, 2nd, Mid Shift, 3rd shift & every other weekend based on business needs.
- 2nd & 3rd shift employees receive a $2.00 shift differential.
- Competitive Benefits Package - eligible the first of the month after 60 days on the job.
- Accrue up to 120 hours of PTO per year.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician in Applicable State.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- 1 or more year of long-term care or retail pharmacy experience.
- Someone reliable and will be able to work during inclement weather.
- Registered/Certified technician or registration should be in the process.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator.
- Quick and independent learner.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you’ll assist in the processing of finished product while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal compliance law.
- They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers
- Assist Pharmacy Supervisor with daily functions.
- Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist Assists in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
- Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label and store, as needed during low volume times Packages materials and products manually.
- Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks).
- Applies labels to blistercards or artromick boxes then scans product for accuracy check.
- Alerts pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly.
- Maintains designated workstation areas and replenishes all stock supplies needed.
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPPA.
- Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required and/or expected.
- Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently.
- May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
- May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
