About the Job
We are looking for an experienced financial professional to join our company as a Full Charge Bookkeeper! You will manage all company ledgers, process payroll, reconcile invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Additionally, you will assist leadership with reporting and regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate has 10 years of prior bookkeeping and/or accounting experience and is experienced in preparing financial statements. Previous experience with Sage accounting software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare deposits and reconcile company ledgers
- Perform account reconciliations and invoicing, including banking and credit card accounts
- Prepare financial statements like Profit & Loss statements and Balance sheets
- Paying taxes
- Assisting CPA with year-end audit and various other financial reports
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business and 5-7 years of experience with accounting and/or bookkeeping (Preferred) or 10 years experience with accounting or bookkeeping (instead of degree)
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Cost Accounting & Accrual Accounting
