Full Charge Bookkeeper
Our client is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of financial recordkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets, handling month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- The full charge bookkeeper will manage accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to maintain accurate records.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- The full charge bookkeeper will manage journal entries, accruals, and adjustments during the month-end closing process.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor financial performance against budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a full charge capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Sage
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
