General Motors Certified Service Technician

Service Technicians provide maintenance for vehicles according to manufacturer standards and procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, 2-5 years of experience, ASE Master or General Motors certifications, an unrestricted driver's license with a clean record, and a knack for vehicle maintenance. State-certified inspectors are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Check and top off/replace fluids or parts as needed
• Conduct routine service inspections/tests and perform standard maintenance tasks.
• Keep vehicles clean during service/repairs
• Ensure completion of necessary documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2 - 5 years of automotive service repair experience 
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Professional appearance
• Strong interpersonal skills for customers, vendors, and staff interactions.
• Basic computer and internet proficiency.
• State inspector certification is advantageous.
