Salary: The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 - $100,000 annually. The actual salary amount offered may vary on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or location.
POSITION SUMMARY
The GSE Operations District Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing ground support equipment (GSE) maintenance operations across multiple locations within the assigned district. This strategic leadership position entails managing a team of technicians and administrative staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational efficiency. The District Manager is responsible for developing and implementing solutions to meet customer maintenance demands, ensuring service level agreement expectations are consistently met or exceeded. With a keen focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, the District Manager collaborates closely with regional management, customer representatives, and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain positive customer relationships. This position serves as a key driver of success, fostering a culture of excellence and driving operational excellence across the district's maintenance operations.

Physical Requirements: Moderate physical demands are required to perform the essential functions of the position. Location is shop environment or home office based. Position may require occasional standing, walking, and repetitive motions related to keyboard and computer use. Visual monitoring and the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required. Occasional tasks may involve bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing/pulling, or reaching for objects. This role may include exposure to moderate environmental conditions and occasional workplace hazards when visiting maintenance areas, this may include exposure to loud noises, fumes, exhaust, or other odors, as well as moving equipment or vehicles, which necessitates adherence to safety protocols and guidelines. The ability to travel within the assigned region and potentially to other locations is required. Travel may involve extended periods of sitting during transportation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and oversee multiple maintenance locations and employees to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety programs across the district.
- Develop and implement solutions to meet customer maintenance demands and service level agreement expectations.
- Lead and manage daily activities to meet or exceed deadlines, focusing on safety, quality, and reliability outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety programs and procedures, fostering a culture of safety among employees and customers throughout the district.
- Maintain positive customer relationships, providing enriched feedback to enhance individual performance and addressing any disciplinary actions as needed.
- Mentor and provide direction to maintenance employees, supporting their professional development and helping them achieve their goals.
- Maintain facility organization and good housekeeping practices to uphold operational standards and efficiency.
- Coordinate safety matters with the Company Safety Officer and assign Site Safety Representatives to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as required by regional management to support district operations and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- High School diploma, or equivalent; 5+ years GSE maintenance related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a related managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong technical understanding of Ground Support Equipment and maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance tracking systems and software.
- Experience working with geographically spread-out locations/workforce.

- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- No travel restrictions, position will require frequent travel within the assigned region and occasionally to other locations as required.
