Slabe Machine Products is hiring a 1st shift Gage Room Attendant!
The Gage Room Attendant is responsible for the management and maintenance of all gages and measuring instruments used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures that all gages are calibrated, properly stored, and readily available for use in the production of high-precision aerospace and defense components.

Key Responsibilities
- Gage Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all gages and measuring instruments. Ensure gages are properly labeled and stored.
- Calibration: Coordinate and perform regular calibration of gages and measuring instruments according to industry standards and company procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of calibration, repairs, and certifications for all gages. Ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Inspection Support: Assist quality inspectors and production staff by providing calibrated gages and measuring instruments as needed.
- Tool Room Maintenance: Keep the gage room organized, clean, and secure. Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations. Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the gage management process.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous experience in a gage room or tool room environment, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
