What you get to do:
- Prioritize safety above all to protect our team members, partners, and customers.
- Coordinate parts receiving activities across multiple locations between multiple teams.
- Counting parts received at partner warehouses to record them in our inventory management software.
- Travel between multiple partner warehouses to record inventory in our system
- Collaborate with procurement, production planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor material levels and request shipments from partner warehouses as needed.
- Work closely with suppliers and purchasing to improve material delivery schedules and reliability.
- Follow documentation for materials flow processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve inventory issues.
- Capture and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
What you bring to the team:
- Associate's degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, or a related field and Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment. Or, High School Diploma and minimum of 5-7 years of experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience as an inventory coordinator or in a similar role in manufacturing or warehousing.
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Well organized.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer software and tools. NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Previous experience in automotive or a similar industry.
