General Laborers Needed! | $19/hour + Shift Differential | Multiple Roles and Shifts

Are you ready for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We are seeking motivated individuals to join a great team as General Laborers. This is a great opportunity to work across various areas in a plant including Conditioning, Lab, Tower, Treater and Packaging. With flexible day and night shifts available, you’ll play an essential role in supporting seed operations throughout the year.

Job Overview:

• Location: Multiple areas, including Conditioning, Lab, Tower, Treater and Packaging
• Schedule: Day & Night Shifts
• Pay: $19/hour (+$1 shift differential for applicable shifts)

Key Responsibilities (Varies by Season):

• Receive and process trucks hauling crops for weighing and unloading.
• Perform husking, sorting, and other harvest-related activities.
• Operate dryers to safely dry crops while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Shell and store crops from bins in the dryer facility.
• Ensure the Conditioning department has a steady supply of seed.
• Apply proper treatments to seeds as required.
• Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed for shipment.
• Enter inventory information into computer systems.
• Stage seed in the warehouse for shipping.
• Retag in-house and returned seed.
• Inspect and clean ProBoxes to ensure they are free of debris.
• Wash ProBoxes as necessary.

Essential Duties:

• Monitor and operate equipment in the field or plant to ensure quality standards are met.
• Rotate through various roles including control room operations as needed.
• Maintain safety standards at all times following emergency procedures if necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of agricultural production and plant operations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with adaptability to changing conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds, work both indoors and outdoors, and navigate uneven surfaces.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screenings.
• Availability to work long hours, rotational shifts and overtime as required.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in agricultural production or plant operations is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and maintain high-quality standards.
