We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to oversee operations across the Mid-Atlantic Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company goals and promoting a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.

- Lead and motivate teams across both fabrication and sales functions to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Manage the sales team by setting clear goals and performance expectations.
- Champion exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Use industry expertise to identify the best product solutions, proactively resolving customer issues to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop strategies to drive profitable growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.
- Leverage data-driven insights to identify new sales opportunities and optimize pricing, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Oversee hose production and custom metal fabrication, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
- Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to boost efficiency and quality.
- Recommend and execute enhancements to equipment, layout, and material flow to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, shipping, and receiving, to maintain a seamless supply chain and support store operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Develop and implement training programs on operations, customer service, inventory management, and sales.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address performance or disciplinary issues as needed.
- Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, implementing initiatives to increase profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (one year of experience can substitute for each year of education).
- 10-15 years of experience in operations and leadership roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial distribution or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
- Proven leadership experience in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices, inventory management, customer service, and facility operations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 150 lbs. and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Ability to travel within the required branch locations.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to elements such as noise, rubber odor, and physical demands typical of a fabrication environment.
