Job Summary:
Are you a vibrant and passionate movie lover with extensive experience in leadership roles? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and build outstanding guest experiences. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the theater's operations, including leading the team, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining performance, and encouraging a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. If you love movies, have a strong background in hospitality management, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do:
- Set the bar for guest services, ensuring that our team consistently delivers outstanding experiences.
- Adopt and exemplify our core values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines, fostering a professional and vibrant work environment.
- Cultivate effective communication among team members, providing guidance and support to help them excel.
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve operational models, and report on successes and growth opportunities.
- Assist in staffing by owning the hiring, training, and disciplinary actions, cultivating a positive and motivating work environment.
- Manage vendor relationships and be the primary point of contact for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Work closely with team members, guests, and corporate agents to ensure consistent and exceptional guest experiences.
- Listen attentively, communicate effectively, and promptly address any guest concerns to ensure their satisfaction.
What You'll Need:
- 8+ years of hospitality management experience in a dynamic environment, preferably with previous experience in dine-in theater management.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire and guide your team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and act as a positive role model for others.
- Hold yourself and team members accountable to consistently meet high standards of dedication and behavior.
- Ability to acquire any required Manager Safe Serve Certification.
- Proficiency in ordering, receiving, invoicing, and inventory procedures.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
