Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a General Manager Mining Operations for our client in their New Orleans area operations. The qualified individual will have 7+ years of management experience within a mining, metal processing, aggregate, recycling, or large construction project or equivalent plant type environment.
COMPENSATION: $150k to 175k plus bonus
MUST BE: A US Citizen or Green Card Holder
MUST HAVE: Bachelors Degree
MUST HAVE: 7+ years of management experience within a mining, metal processing, aggregate, recycling, or large construction project or equivalent plant type environment
MUST HAVE: Full P&L management experience
This is not a remote position. This position requires the candidate to move to New Orleans and be onsite daily.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Full P&L for the facility
- Oversee employees in all areas (Safety, Environmental, Quality, Production, Shipping, Maintenance, continuous improvement, Customer service)
- Implement Lean management principles
- Manage contractors and suppliers
- Operating Expenditure (OPEX) and annual budgeting
- Manage capital and annual budgeting
- Oversight and development of strategic growth projects
- Experience working with governmental and regulatory agencies
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of management experience within a mining, metal processing, aggregate, recycling, or large construction project or equivalent plant type environment
- Experience managing a P&L
- Experience working with and around heavy processing and materials handling equipment
- Working Bilingual (English / Spanish) capability
